Frequently asked questions

Ordering and customization

What's the difference between 2-3-2 and 3-2-2?

It's which dial sits on the left. 2-3-2 is Strike-Ball: strikes on the left, balls on the right. 3-2-2 is Ball-Strike: balls on the left, strikes on the right. Outs and innings are the same on both.

Standard or Narrow?

The Narrow indicator has the same four dials and the same customization in a slimmer, smaller, lighter body. It suits smaller hands, younger umpires, and umpires with less dexterity in their fingers, because you can click the dials over with a knuckle instead of a fingertip. If you have average or larger hands, the standard is the one most umpires pick.

White or yellow dials?

Both come with black numbers. Yellow dials are a little easier to read at a glance; white dials are the classic look. Pick whichever you prefer, the price is the same.

Where are the flag designs?

On the Flag sets page. There are 12: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and the Dominican Republic. Every flag comes two ways: no text on the back (exactly as pictured, our lowest price) or your text included (your name or number printed on the back). Both come with a free matching flag coin, and there are flag flip coins on their own too.

What can I put on the back?

A name, a crew or badge number, or a phone number. Type it in box 1 on the product page and the preview shows how it will look. It's printed exactly as typed, so double-check your spelling. Anything else you'd like changed goes in box 2, and we'll email you if we need to check anything before we make it.

Can you add a logo?

Yes, for associations, leagues and crews. Email theperfectcall1@gmail.com with your logo and we'll send a sample mockup before anything is made. We only use an organization's logo with its permission.

What's the free flip coin?

You get one free flip coin with every indicator. Add a coin in the colours you like to your cart and it comes off at $0 at checkout, no code needed.

Shipping

How long does it take?

Every indicator is made to order and ships in 1–3 business days, most the next business day. After it ships, U.S. delivery is usually 5–10 business days. In Canada, Basic Lettermail takes 3–7 business days and Tracked shipping 2–4.

Will I get a tracking number?

U.S. orders: yes, every U.S. order is tracked.

Canadian orders: only if you choose a tracked option. Our free and lowest-cost Canadian option, Basic Lettermail, has NO tracking and no delivery confirmation. If you want a tracking number, choose Tracked shipping, Xpresspost or Rush at checkout. If a Basic Lettermail order hasn't arrived 15 business days after it ships, email us and we'll make it right.

Can I get it faster?

Yes. At checkout you can choose faster shipping, or Rush, which means we make your order the next business day. Canadian orders can also choose Tracked shipping or Xpresspost.

How much is shipping?

Orders with 3 or more indicators ship free to the U.S. and Canada. Smaller orders see the exact shipping cost at checkout before you pay. See every shipping option and price.

Do you ship outside the U.S. and Canada?

We ship to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea with tracked international shipping. Email us if your country isn't listed and we'll see what we can do.

After it arrives

What if something isn't right?

Email us. If your layout or colours don't feel right when it arrives, we'll make it right. Read the full return policy.

How do I pay?

Credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Google Pay and PayPal at checkout. If you'd rather pay by e-transfer, email us and we'll set up your order.
